Money, super and investing can feel overwhelming, so I enjoy breaking it down, providing clarity, and showing clients how their hard work today can create security for them down the track.

I joined Atkinson Saynor in early 2023 after several years at one of Australia’s Big Four banks, where I helped clients achieve their home ownership goals. Moving into financial planning felt like a natural next step — a chance to make a broader impact and help people build lasting financial wellbeing.

I love that no two clients are the same and that every situation brings a different challenge. One couple I worked with were worried about whether one of them could afford to retire early. They were even thinking about selling their home. After mapping out their options and restructuring their debt and super, we showed them they could retire comfortably and keep the lifestyle they wanted. Seeing that sense of relief is what makes the work so rewarding.

I completed a Master of Financial Planning during Melbourne’s lockdowns. It wasn’t the easiest time to study, but it was a good test of focus and commitment.

As a former personal trainer, I love getting into the gym and breaking a sweat. I play indoor soccer every weekend semi-professionally. I play indoor soccer every weekend at a semi-professional level and follow Carlton - eternally full of hope. I’m also an Arsenal supporter, which means a lot of early mornings during football season.

I spend more time than I’d like to admit playing chess. What started as a lockdown hobby turned into a bit of an obsession, and I’m now ranked in the top two per cent of online players globally. I’m far from professional, but I’ll take on anyone up for a challenge.

I like to stay connected with my community and have been involved in the rebuild of Melbourne’s oldest mosque in Coburg.

Up close and personal with Yasin.

  • Three people come to mind, for very different reasons.

Warren Buffett—one of the greatest investors in history.I'd have so many questions.

Elon Musk—love him or hate him, he's one of the sharpest minds alive right now.

Prophet Muhammad—one of the most influential figures in human history. That conversation would be profound.
