I love diving into complex financial situations with lots of moving parts. Modelling scenarios, testing different ideas and finding clear answers to tricky questions is the kind of work I enjoy. It’s even better when it all comes together in an advice document that genuinely helps someone move closer to their financial goals.

I’m just as interested in the people behind the spreadsheets. I like getting to know our clients, hearing what they want for their lives and helping them understand topics that can feel overwhelming. Seeing someone’s confidence grow never gets old, whether they have been with us for years or are working with us for the first time.

Whether they are preparing to retire or have been retired for a while, being part of easing that financial uncertainty is something I value. Watching someone relax once they realise they are going to be okay is a really satisfying part of the job.

Outside of work, I’m usually around cars, at the gym or out fishing. I’m a big motorsport fan, especially tarmac rally, and most weekends involve one of those interests or time with my girlfriend, family or friends.

I also volunteer as an event official at Victorian tarmac rally events throughout the year, helping with setup and supporting the running of each event.
